Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope & Applicability

This policy governs all cancellations and refund requests for paid assessments, reports, coaching packages, and related services (“Services”) offered by Career Gurucool.

2. Definitions

  • “User” means any individual or entity purchasing our Services.
  • “Order” refers to a completed purchase transaction.
  • “Cancellation” means termination of an Order before the Service is delivered or commenced.
  • “Refund” means repayment of fees for an eligible Cancellation.

3. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

  • Pre-Test Cancellation: Users may cancel an Order within 24 hours of payment, provided the assessment has not been accessed. Eligible for a full refund.
  • Post-Test Start: Once a User begins (i.e., opens) an assessment, no refund is permitted except under Technical Failure provisions (see Section 5).
  • Coaching Packages: For multi‑session packages, unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if requested before the first session is conducted.
  • Bundle Offers: Refunds on bundled Services will be calculated proportionately based on individual component prices.

4. Refund Process

  1. Submit a written refund request to info@careergurucool.com with subject “Refund Request.”
  2. Include:
    • Full name and registered email
    • Order number and date of purchase
    • Service name and details
    • Reason for cancellation/refund
  3. Our Support Team will acknowledge within 3 business days and may request additional information.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.

5. Technical Failure & Retake Policy

If the User encounters a verified technical issue (e.g., system crash, lost connectivity) preventing test completion:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours to support with screenshots/logs.
  • Career Gurucool may grant either a one‑time retake or a full refund at its discretion.

6. Non‑Refundable Circumstances

  • Change of mind after accessing the Service.
  • Partial completion or abandonment without final submission.
  • Perceived dissatisfaction with results or recommendations.
  • Missed deadlines or lack of time to complete assessments.

7. Chargebacks

Users must not initiate chargebacks for Services genuinely rendered. Unjustified chargebacks will result in account suspension and possible legal action.

8. Modification of Service Fees

Career Gurucool reserves the right to change prices at any time. Refund eligibility is determined by the fee in effect at the time of the original Order.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
